Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By using DiffTrax (the extension, API, or website), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use DiffTrax.

2. What DiffTrax Does

DiffTrax is a website change monitoring tool. It uses AI to read and compare web page content on your behalf and notify you of changes. DiffTrax does not guarantee detection of all changes, and monitoring accuracy may vary depending on the structure and behavior of the target website.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to:

• Use DiffTrax only for lawful purposes
• Not monitor pages you are not authorized to access
• Not use DiffTrax to scrape data in violation of any website's terms of service
• Not attempt to circumvent usage limits or rate limits
• Not resell or redistribute DiffTrax or its output without permission

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide a valid email address. One account per person.

5. Pricing and Billing

Free accounts include limited monitors and check frequency. Paid plans (Pro and Business) are billed monthly through Stripe. You can cancel at any time through the Stripe billing portal. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact hello@difftrax.io.

Prices may change with 30 days notice. Annual plan pricing, if offered, is locked for the duration of the billing period.

6. Intellectual Property

DiffTrax and its code, design, and branding are the property of DiffTrax. You retain ownership of your monitor configurations and any data you provide.

7. Limitation of Liability

DiffTrax is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for missed changes, incorrect alerts, downtime, or any damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Third-Party Websites

DiffTrax monitors third-party websites on your behalf. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or terms of those websites. Your use of DiffTrax to monitor a website does not create any relationship between you and that website's operator.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time by emailing hello@difftrax.io. We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms with or without notice.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of San Diego County, California.
